NOAH (Neighborhood Old Age Homes) is a registered NPO enabling social pensioners to remain active and independent in communities for as long as possible.

In Khayelitsha, their Community Centre offers a range of wellness, social and financial support (which includes social enterprise development projects).

More than 75 registered Centre members gather daily to do exercises, arts & crafts, play games, share a meal, listen to speakers, make products for sale and run a Spaza Shop.

They celebrate their culture and traditions, share their trials and tribulations and receive the support they need to return uplifted to their families where they are key caregivers.

For the Afrofest, the Khayelitsha & Woodstock centre will be a site where visitors can meet and experience the people, sample their nutritious traditional food, and buy their products: Soap, Beads, Wonderbags. There will also be extra activities with artists from all over, to entertain visitors and pensioners!
